FROZEN SHOULDER

Frozen shoulder, also known as adhesive capsulitis, is a condition characterised by the thickening and tightening of the soft tissue capsule that surrounds the glenohumeral joint, the ball-and-socket joint of the shoulder. This leads to pain and restricted shoulder movement.

Signs and Symptoms of Frozen Shoulder:

  • Stage One: During the Freezing Stage, there is a slow onset of pain, progressively limiting shoulder movement as the pain worsens

  • Stage Two: In the Frozen Stage, there is a gradual improvement in pain, but persistent stiffness in the shoulder remains

  • Stage Three: During the Resolving Stage, there is a slow return of shoulder motion towards normal

Addressing frozen shoulder early can significantly improve recovery time and restore mobility. Our tailored treatment plans are designed to alleviate pain and enhance shoulder function, helping you regain your range of motion.
